When Housecall Pro is the better pick
Chaz isn't for everyone. If one of these sounds like your business, stay where you are.
- You run a larger crew and need established tools like price books and job costing.
- Your office staff already knows Housecall Pro, and switching would cost more time than it saves.
- Your team and your customers all work in English.
Common questions
Is Chaz really free for my business?
Yes. There's no subscription, no contract, no setup fee and no per-user fee, and Chaz doesn't take a cut of your jobs. Stripe's standard card processing applies to the payments you collect, as it does with any app that takes cards.
What does my customer pay?
A flat $1.75 service fee per payment, shown at checkout before they pay. That fee is how Chaz makes money.
Who handles the card payments?
Stripe. You connect your own Stripe account, payouts go to your bank, and Stripe's standard rates apply. Haven't set up Stripe yet? Chaz Collect holds your customers' payments for you and sends them to your bank once Stripe verifies you.
